I live in Central Oregon where "the stars shine bright on moonless nights." It's easy to find The Big Dipper as well as Orion's Belt.  Using these as guideposts, other constellations and star clusters can be located. Two stars on the far side of The Big Dipper point to the Pole Star and on to Cassiopeia. Orion's Belt can take you to Taurus, Betelgeuse, Sirius and the Pleiades.

Whether you map the night sky or just enjoy its' beauty, the stars will always be a source of mystery and wonder.
